1. Gives you better focus.
Mentioned in my previous post that with better concentration , I finish my tasks much faster . When I finish my tasks faster or on schedule, I do not feel as stressed than if I were to head back with unfinished work. Because when I have unfinished work, at times I'm supposed to be off work and eating peacefully, I'd be thinking abt work.
2. Faster movement
Managed to do more tasks n feel less tired . When I move around it's faster too.
3. Brain works faster
A cab driver I met last month was telling me that he's about 50 years old, n he doesn't look like it. His muscles on his arms are firm and plump. When he turned around to show me his face, almost no songs of aging, except s few lines near his eyes. According to him, it's due to lack of sleep. If he sleeps 8 hours n had enough sleep, his lined would be gone. And his face looks like in his fit thirties. I used the phrase fit thirties is because some people look haggard ib 30s, whilst some still maintain very well. The distinct thing abt him is his speed of thought, speaks fast and coherently . He says even when he's home at 3 am he'd still do his crunches . Exercise is something he's addicted too, n feels odd if he doesn't do. Also, he doesn't fall ill. Many a times I've seen the firm muscular bodies of bodybuilders only their faces give their age away. Bur this person didn't hv much signs of aging, no sag whatsoever . Inspiring.

4. Easier to get up in the mornings n lesser muscle aches
With the weights I do, the frozen shoulder melts away, along with the neckache. Also easier to get up in the mornings too. Tomorrow I shall continue to monitor whether the consistency is still there, given today's circuit training consisting of arm weights n core work.
5. Glow in the face
I get this after 5 km jogs, anything lesser distance than that and the glow diminishes? I love it when the face is flushed after long exercise. Like a flamed torch

I'm back . From the long hiatus. After 1 major crossover event in my life. I retained my surname even after that event, thereby retaining my identity.

This is our 2nd attempt, it shd b ok n settled beforeyear end. N the event after that might be multiplication .

Spots have come uninvited, n stayed long overdue . Not leaving even as new ones come onboard.

Everything has a season. Just bear and grit through it, the rainbow will shine one day. As long as we continue to persevere in the long, meandering path, although not knowing what each corner brings and offers.

Be brave , just go and do without fear. In no time it would b over. In no time whilst doing it, even gar the first time , inspirations and thoughts would come your way to supplement and augment it, making it full and whole. Just as what it should it. Things will fall in place. There would be a warm sense of satisfaction and heave of relief as you go over each obstacle, seeing it as a challenge, a weight that will not only allow you to flex your muscles, but to make it stronger over time.

I heard this on radio. Do not be afraid. For this experience will help you to bank into your deposit, called experience. Something invaluable , something that need to be acquired only through experience.

And will emerge a strong, perpetual winner.
Success is yours to take .

Just this week, I had a lot of projects on hand . New ones rolled in by authority's hand. I really had to priorities them. I filled up e grants, gave it to a colleague.

Also, I did up my slides for the upcoming training. Thongs fall into place. Overcome the procrastination monster with a fearless heart.

we were supposed to go jogging this morning at ecp with j n a. I set my alarm the night before, even msged v to pick me at 640 am. But the thing is, I woke up at 9.25 am.

I checked my phone, 12 missed calls from V, 1 missed call from J.

I asked if V came, he said yes, den I said , how come you didn't call my house ?

He didnt want to wake everyone up.

But he saw my maid washing the car.

I asked M. She said yeah, she saw him at 630 am - 7 am outside the door.. I was like, feeling very guilty.

He said he hung around my place, ATE BREAKFAST(something he doesnt normally do), and den went home about 8 plus. shish..

I passed the first round interview which consisted of 10 candidates seated together in a room, all interviewed at the same time, by 3 interviewers, led by 1 head interviewer.

After introduction, A question of why would people enter the bking industry during such times, I got a call from HR.

They asked me down as I was being selected.

2nd round was the pschometric test, 1 critical thinking test and 1 maths test. I passed them, since HR called me again to arrange a meeting with the sales manager.

By this time, I called HR and told them I wished to withdraw my application. I just can't imagine slogging myself on weekends.

If I have to apply for the Partner Manager role, I would need to reapply again, I was told. HR could have easily passed my profile to the other HR who was in charge of that, but she didn't. I guess they must be overwhelmed since I see her working till 8pm, or when she first called me, it was 8 plus in the night too. It was unusual since I saw empty offices except for a few people.

I'm glad I got selected by the bank and passed through the string of tests. But that certainly isn't a route I want to take.

Mr Google is from India, but now lives in Kuwait. He had a boil in his left ear and was supposed to meet v's boss, whom he calls as a friend. Due to a lack of miscommunication, he kept waiting for this friend... when this 'fren' called v to bring him to dr and lunch.. hhaa.

Mr G had a strange facial expression, in the sense that one minute he is smiling, the next minute he drops his cheekbones immediately and has a serious look.his daughter is now 21, looking for a job since she has just graduated from Carnegie Mellon University - US, she had 96 percentile. she is so smart, he expects a lot from his children. at least 90 percent, if not 100 percent. both his children one is 21, the other is about 14, speak french. He speaks a lot about his daughter and a little abt his son, but almost none abt his wife. his wife looks like Chinese, he said his ancestors were from Mongolia, that's hw he and his wife are North Indians. He has been to SG since 1982. He's nw leaving the co to join another one.

Mr Helmet is from Kuwait, highly educated and probably highly paid and in a good position.

The best part abt him, V n I both agreed, is that he loves his wife more than anything else. I've heard the phrase," my wife" from him so many times. Moreover he's friendly and all.

His wife is coming on the 10 June. Aft that we might all go out to dinner. He married at 24, and is now 34. He liked the prawning idea when we brought him to ECP.

very nice place, nice food, different types of sauces

They didn't serve all the types of meats in their menu. They served dory instead of salmon.
Their lamb and beef was good! no smell.. I mean those hmm.. animalistic smells.

The servers were quite on the ball. The caucasian server was very much on the ball, looks a little rushing though.

The other server looked a little lazy, in the sense he just placed the meat in the middle of the table and asked everyone at the table if they wanted the meat.

The pineapple was not as sweet as I imagined it to be, the brazil churrascharia I tried at another place was really much sweeter.

The chicken hearts weren't served.

One thing they served which was v good was the cheese bread, flavourful and fresh from oven.

What could have been done better was the lady coming round the tables to advise us on how to pair the sauces. They had a great variety of sauces. The meat and fish was well cooked and marinated though, but if no one taught you how to pair the sauces, it might not bring out the best way to eat it

I'm going back there again another day!

I'm not a meat lover and prefer to eat vegetables most of the time, but that place served good beef and lamb! ;)

It came up to about $50 nett per person on a Sat.

Must Tries: beef, lamb

not worth it, lousy quality

With the title above, I need to state why. Read on if you are curious.

We ordered

Cheese Fondue- $25-
was supposed to be a mix of Emnental cheese with white wine. It was so watery. I wonder if a cheese fondue should have such thinness. It was combined with ham(which was nice), asparagus, sauteed onions, baguette, carrot sticks, celery sticks.

Dark Chocolate Fondue- $25
The consistency was LUMPY... yewl.. too thick you might wonder? I don't think so.. I just think they didn't stir it well enough when they were melting the chocolate.. yet they dared to serve it. totally unexpected. Even Haagen Dazz chocolate fondue is so much better. It was served with raspberries(not fresh), strawberries(normal only), mini cookies(not bad), madeleines(stale!, totally not fresh)

The essence of fondues are not only the main ingredients served with it, but also the chocolate and cheese. With the main actors gone awry, how can you expect to enjoy your meal?

The sticks used to dip the fondues were old and the red portion of the sticks were quite loose, hence the handling of it could be slipped out easily. They did not have the initiative to offer us 2 separate sticks since we ordered both cheese and chocolate fondues, which meant that the chocolate could have been mixed with the cheese if we didn't use out forks instead.

They also did not have the initiative to offer us water after we had ordered our drinks.

The only thing nice about the 2 fondues, was that it came in a nice looking pot with a single tealight. Would you rather have a nice looking layout or yewl tasting food?

Chicken Tikka- $9 aesthetically, it looked ok, but when you dip it in the sauce, which was supposed to be mint chutney, was bad sauce. the yogurt was watery, so was the mint in it, so watered down.

Drinks - Sizzle - mix of orange lemon and strawberry puree- I didn't like the rind in it..very crude pcs.. yewl.. $14

Mango Mint- probably more suitable as a sauce - $14

Erdinger - probably the best ordered. But you can't go wrong with Erdinger - $16

Going on a Sunday is no good too, there wasn't a band.

Review: Terrible! Don't back here unless you really have nothing to do and perhaps just want a drink. No ambience. It was very distracting to see the visitors walking by.

He drove to Esplande just to meet me. I thought he wanted to meet me.

But he said his sole purpose was to pass me the hp charger. Which was sweeter. cuz he knew I would need it.

I told him I would meet him around 10. At 9 plus, he was already at the Bugis Tau Hway shop drinking soya bean and on standby just in case I called him.

These are his sweet ways.. Now, my wish is for loyalty. He is. just that a lot of guys aren't.

I drink orange juice every morning when I wake up. All the freshly squeezed Vitamin C.

I read Steve's story about Apple, 1 chapter yesterday, another chapter and a half till Pg 82 today. Its amazing how Steve is into details, how he doesn't have a degree, yet have his eyes on the industry, and how people spread stories of him firing people in elevators. How by saying no, simplified the product range, simplified the product, increased crazy sales, lives by a $1 salary, the rest in options. and how he made so much much and was worth so much at a young age. He is so detailed that he examines pixel by pixel.

Imagine how much better I would have scored if I had followed Mrs L's word to chop up the steps step by step, what if its angle by angle, cm by cm, degree by degree, every expression, movement, up to the eyes, fingers, toes shoulders..

They refused to return or pick my calls.

Hence I have to take action. The other time about the salary, I had to send the stupid HR the information of the MOM website, she didn't know so much about regulations, and I, a non-HR person had to teach her!

And worse part of all, she said I was too much. So much for teaching someone for free. If this wasn't her husband's family business, I wonder how she would survive outside being a "HR executive", especially one who is so ignorant about basic regulations.

Enough said. I'm glad I have left and confirmed a rogue company. A company who has many secrets, with which it would refuse to tell even its staff. Where its communication channel was through a bootlicker, and through it narrows its communication channels. It is a miracle that it was able to survive two years in Vivo.

It was funny playing with the baby with Mum. M was trying her best all night to recall the alphabets song, so conversations like" What's L?

Me:Lion

Mu: What's M? and so on.. and what's after Q?

and so on..

Then she started singing whatever songs she could think of, and filling in lyrics of her own..

and started her own song.

After that, the baby cried a little, probably some pre-sleep tantrums or perhaps her nappy was wet, that was what M said.

After that, B slept for a while, not long after, woke up again..

M brought her to living room and afterwards, B finally fell asleep..

My arms were aching a little when I was carrying B, looks like a month old bb is not light, can you imagine what its like to carry a 6 or 7 month old baby? Its like carrying a 8-9 kg dumbbell around.
